Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship to?

We ship to all of North America, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. We are the only company in the industry that has offices and manufacturing facilities in both USA and Canada.

When can I expect my order?

Shipping time to any destination in Canada and the US is 5-7 business days. If you are on the west coast of Canada or the US, you can expect a delivery time of 2-4 business days.

We also offer express shipping through UPS, which offers our clients the option for next-day or second-day delivery.

How can I check my order status?

We assign a tracking number to every order we ship out, whether it is a local domestic or international order. To check where your shipment is and when it will arrive, please contact us, and we will be happy to provide the full details of your shipment's whereabouts.

Can I send shipments using my preferred courier?

Yes, we just need your account information to use your courier. Please note that any shipment sent collect on your account will be your responsibility if orders are damaged, lost or delayed.

Do you have a minimum order size?

There are no minimum orders. All orders, large or small, are shipped with the same care and attention.

How can I place an order?

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. Fabricators can also apply for a 30-day net to pay with a check.

Manufacturing & Products

What metals do you use to make components?

We produce our balusters in solid iron, steel tubing, and aluminum. All other components are made of cast iron, aluminum, or iron.

What sizes do your components come in?

We generally offer our components in ½”, 5/8”, and ¾” material. Other sizes are available upon request.

We manufacture our products in-house, so we have the ability to make our balusters to your desired length for an additional cost.

How do you apply the powder coating?

After properly preparing the metal, the powdered paint is electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the part. The part is then placed in an oven and the powder particles melt and coalesce to form a continuous film.

Will powder-coated balusters crack, peel or chip?

No, properly applied powder-coating metal will not crack, peel, or chip as with conventional paint films.

Can I order custom balusters?

As the manufacturer, we can custom-make virtually any baluster for you. Just Provide a drawing and measurements to ensure we make it to your exact specifications.

Do you offer gate automation products?

Yes, we are a distributor for BFT, an Italian-based company that has been in business for over 25 years. We sell their gate systems for slide and swing gate operations for residential and commercial use.

Design

What is the difference between a forged and a hammered baluster?

Hammered edge balusters provide a uniform look that is consistent throughout the bar. Forged provides an unequal finish, truly hand forged, giving an authentic look.

What kind of decorative balusters do you offer?

We offer basket balusters, scroll balusters, belly balusters, stamped balusters, forged balusters, twisted balusters, wavy balusters, and many other assorted balusters. Additionally, post balusters are available.

How can I decorate my gate or door?

We suggest decorating with our cast iron panels or steel scrolls to make your gate or door more elaborate.

What are matching balusters?

Matching balusters are balusters without a decorative ornament. These are typically installed between the decorative balusters and come in forged, hammered on edge, and smooth which come in round or square material.

What textures do you offer your balusters in?

We offer our balusters in smooth (no texture), hammered (uniform texture throughout), and forged (hand forged with an inconsistent texture) textured.

What is a shoe/base?

A shoe or base is a decorative component that is attached to the bottom of a baluster for decorative purposes.

Do you offer powder coating on your metal components?

Yes, for an additional cost, we offer 10 different powder coating colours to choose from.

What is a knuckle or insert?

A knuckle or an insert is a decorative component that is attached to a baluster as an ornamental design.
