Our selection of inserts & bases come in various sizes. Inserts & bases are a key component of stair parts and are very versatile. Inserts are primarily used for welding a design onto a plain baluster (such as our HP202). Inserts can also double as bases. Bases (such as our HP203) are used mainly for installing balusters into wood railings. There are a number of designs to choose from that can be used for any flat surface. For a staircase, the HP204 is most commonly used, because it has an angled base. Inserts & bases can be powder coated to match the balusters for installation.
