Conditions of Use

Claims and Returns:

Custom Ornamental Iron Works will replace products to the same point of delivery or, at our option, will allow credit for the purchase price of such material if and to the extent that:

1. Material is defective or not to agreed specifications,
   And, you have notified us within 10 days after the pickup or delivery has been made,
   And, Custom Ornamental Iron Works has been given the opportunity to inspect the material.
2. Material quantities received differ from accompanied Packing Slip or Invoice quantities,
   And, you have notified us within 7 Business days after the pickup or delivery has been made.

All powdercoated products are a final sale.

It is the customers responsibilities to inspect and ensure that packages and products are undamaged from shipping. Should you discover that your purchase has been damaged, you must advise the delivery company and Custom Ornamental Ironworks immediately.

All orders in US Currency will be shipped from our US Head Office. All Canadian Currency orders will be shipped from our Canadian Head Office. Orders placed online or over the phone/fax in Canada/Canadian Currency must be shipped to a Canadian Address. Order placed in USA/US Currency must be shipped to a US address.

Minimum Orders:

No minimum orders. On all orders, large or small, will be shipped with the same care and attention.

Warranty & Liability:

All merchandise is produced to standard tolerances. Custom Ornamental Iron Works warants its products to be free from defects in workmanship and material. No other warranty is expressed or implied. In particular, Custom Ornamental Iron Works makes no warranty concerning the merchantability of the products or their suitability or fitness for any particular purpose or use. It is the customer’s responsible to test and verify the suitability of the product for its intended use. Custom Ornamental Iron Works is not liable for any loss, damage, or compensation from the use of the product. Custom Ornamental Iron Works products may not pass building codes for climbability issues, therefore it is up to the purchaser of our products to ensure the final application will pass codes.

Wrought iron doors do not come with a CSA Certificate which may be needed to pass certian inspections. It is the customer responsibility to ensure they pass local building codes.

Custom Orders:

In most cases, Custom Orders will require 50% down and remaining 50% on completion.
